What is the theme of your drawing?
The theme of my drawing is environment issues.
How did you choose your theme? Did you have any troubles choosing a theme? Explain.
I chose this theme by looking through CBC’s recent news stories. I found one about global warming and it influenced me to create my drawing inspired by a planet slowly decaying. Yes, I did have trouble choosing a theme. I found it difficult because having a political topic that you can draw a lot of, especially in the shape of a face, was not very easy to think of off the top of my head.
What is successful about your drawing, why?
I think that my illustrations turned out really nice. Specifically the water plants, sky and the factory smoke. I like the way they are coloured and I liked my ideas for the.
How can you continue to improve your drawing? How will you achieve this?
I can improve my drawing by focusing more. This would help because then I wouldn’t talk as much, get distracted and hand in artwork more rushed/ late than if could've been. I can achieve this by putting some headphones in next time we are working on a project to keep me focused,
What was the most challenging part of this project? How did you take on and overcome this challenge?
The most challenging part of this project was choosing a topic. I overcame this challenge by asking people who were not in our class for some ideas, looking at the CBC website for stories and doing some research.
